Sheila, Business Manager
Sheila joined Animal Clinic South on a permanent basis in October 2024. She has a BS in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from McKendree University. Sheila retired from the corporate world where she worked for over 30 years as a software and database developer. She has been working with Animal Clinic South since December 2015. Sheila is an avid cyclist and enjoys spin classes and getting outside in warm weather to ride with family and friends.
Jamie, Veterinary Assistant
Jamie joined Animal Clinic South after the merge with Oakville Veterinary Office, where she had worked for 16 years as a veterinary technician and office manager. Jamie grew up in Imperial, MO attending St. John’s Lutheran School and Seckman High School. She has had a life-long interest in animals and knew she wanted to work with them from an early age. During high school, Jamie worked as an assistant in a physician’s office, where she developed an interest in medicine. After high school, Jamie spent a few semesters at the University of Missouri as a biology major before discovering the field of Veterinary Technology, which perfectly combined her love for animals and interest in medicine. She is a 2005 graduate of the Vet Tech program at Jefferson College. Jamie lives in DeSoto, MO with her husband, their two children, and her mother. They have a playful Golden Retriever, named Wallace, and two American Quarter Horses, Sam and Kelly. Jamie is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors on her family’s property.
Heather, Customer Service Representative
Heather has been working in the veterinary field for over seven years. She started as an intern and worked her way through many positions. Her love for animals extends into her home life where she has several animals including an axolotl as well as cats, a dog, and fish. Outside of work, when she is not chasing after her young children, you can find Heather reading a good book or baking sweet treats.
Kaitlyn, Veterinary Assistant
Kaitlyn has seven years of experience in veterinary care. When Kaitlyn is not working, she enjoys watching Blues hockey and playing with her two dogs and bunny.
Brandi, Customer Service Representative
Brandi joined Animal Clinic South in 2022. She is from St. Louis, where her love for animals blossomed. During the summers she would spend all her time at her grandma’s farm in Central Illinois. She has two decades of experience, starting her journey in the veterinary field at the Humane Society of Missouri. She has lived in Oakville for 18 years. She lives with her husband, four children, two dogs, and two birds. Aside from her passion for animals, she is a devoted fan of the Chiefs, Blues and Cardinals.
Francesca, Veterinary Assistant
Francesca has been working in the veterinary field since 2009. While working full time she also focused on expanding her knowledge in the veterinary field. In 2016, she graduated from PennFoster receiving her AAS in Veterinary Technology. Francesca has worked in private practice and corporate hospitals. She brings with her many years of experience, knowledge and passion.
Francesca grew up in south St. Louis. She spent most of her childhood at the dance studio (PDC) and was very passionate about competitive dance. After leaving the dance world behind she worked as a waitress/server for several years while also attending St. Louis Community College. In 2009 Francesca took a job as a receptionist at a vet hospital and fell in love with the veterinary field.
Emily, Customer Service Representative and Veterinary Assistant
Emily has worked as a vet tech since 2013 and earned her degree at Cedar Valley College. She started working at Animal Clinic South in 2018. In her free time she loves to read and spend time outdoors with her husband, son, and their 3 dogs.
